About Me
Great to have you here! I’m Angela, and I’m thrilled you’ve found your way to Seasonal Simple Life.
Whether you’re dreaming of your first vegetable garden, looking to preserve your harvest, or simply wanting to live more intentionally with the seasons, you’re in the right place.

My Story
For over a decade, I’ve been growing all the vegetables for my family on a rented meadow plot in Southern Germany. What started as a small experiment has transformed into a way of life that brings me immense joy and fulfilment.
I live in the countryside with my two sons, and you’ll most likely find me in one of two places: out in the garden with my hands in the soil, or in the kitchen transforming our harvest into preserved treasures and seasonal meals. In the mornings, I work part-time as a school secretary, but the rest of my day is devoted to the rhythms of growing, cooking, and creating a home that reflects the season we’re in.
Over the years, I’ve learned that self-sufficiency isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress. I’ve had seasons of abundance and seasons of lessons learned (sometimes the hard way!). Each year in the garden teaches me something new, and I love sharing these discoveries with you.

Certified in Fermentation Science
In January 2026, I completed Harvard’s Fermentation Science certification program, deepening my knowledge of the science behind preserving foods safely and effectively.
This training enhanced my hands-on experience and allows me to share reliable, research-backed preserving techniques with you
